Back: Measure length of pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Chest/Girth: Measure girth around the broadest part of the chest. Note: If chest measurements fall within two size ranges and your dog has a narrow build choose the smaller size. *** The solid fleece fabrics are stretchy and will give with wear, if your dog is between sizes and is on the higher end of one size versus the lower end of another size, please consider the stretch offered with this fabric if your dog is between sizes. For example, if your dog has a 36 inch chest and is 75 pounds, the size 26 will work well for most. If your dog has a 36 inch chest and is 79 pounds and is built stocky with a thick coat, the size 28 will provide a fuller more relaxed fit.
