Add to a new coat for your dog or add to a any dog coat for added warmth and protection for winter season. The Arctic Fleece is made from recycled water bottles, but you would never know it is plastic based... it feels like "real" material. It is "piled" on both sides - pile is the little bit of material that rises from the base of the material. For example, a shag rug has a very long pile. Because it's construction is very dense it retains body heat and resists the cold, slowing the loss of body heat keeping your dog warm. It has a water resistance capability as a result of the plastic base, in the rain the water will bead off the surface and it dries quickly. The pile is very soft and cozy. Arctic Fleece does not fray! To add a LEAD OPENING to your snood, simply cut a slit in the snood once you know where it is best positioned to accommodate your collar and lead! Head: For Snoods, measure the circumference of your pets head select size of expansion that is greater than head size. For example, for a head size of 18 inches a medium snood would be selected.
